Offering increased levels of insulation over standard self-inflating mats the Exped Synmat 9LW sleeping mat has the same makeup as the ever popular Downmats, only microfibre fill replaces down in each chamber.

The Synmat 9LW comes at a friendlier price than the Downmat and has a lighter pack weight, with the only trade-off being lesser insulation values. An integrated hand pump prevents dizzy spells and the build-up of moisture inside the mat when inflated by mouth.
